Family Day at the Alice Springs Turf Club is a highlight for every young racegoer.
This year the Alice Springs Turf Club have joined with the staff of Coles Alice Springs to support Redkite: Kids Cancer Charity and Family Support.
Redkite supports young cancer patients up to the ages of 24 and their families with financial assistance, hospital services and rehabilitation activities, social services and grant-making activities.
Dress the kids up in their best racing attire and come enjoy some great activities, plus the first-class racing. With many prizes to be won, the Kids Best Dressed Competition is always a crowd favourite.
Family Day will also feature plenty of activities for all ages with face painting, rides, live music, and of course the great racing action on the track.
In lieu of an admission fee, we will be asking for a donation for Redkite.
Members Bar & Balcony
Cheer your horse across the line in our private upstairs air-conditioned bar overlooking the winning post! There are banks of TVs for betting on all race meetings, plus a shaded external balcony. This is the prime spot to relax and take in spectacular, uninterrupted elevated views of the whole track and the MacDonnell Ranges beyond.
The Princess Amelia Café & Lawns
Enjoy your meal at the tables and seating in the air-conditioned Princess Amelia Cafe or take it with you to the outside areas. Or bring your own picnic and relax under the shade structure on the lawn or under one of our umbrellas.
Our air-conditioned bar on the ground floor of the grandstand, next to the Princess Amelia Café, overlooks the winning post and features lounge seating, tables and chairs, banks of TVs for watching local and interstate racing, as well as full bar and TAB facilities. A coveted area sure to be sought after once again during the 2021 Ladbrokes Alice Springs Cup Carnival.
Don’t miss this special day dedicated to family fun!
