The Alice Springs Turf Club is going to hold a family ‘Picnic Day on the Lawns’ on Sunday 28th July, to raise awareness and funds for ‘Dolly’s Dream’.
The Alice Springs Turf Club has chosen this charity because of Dolly Everett’s love of horses and of course the family is one of our Territory’s own.
We aim to have picnic baskets on sale, entertainment on the lawns by Gareth Dawkins who has kindly offered to perform free of charge, and organised events for the children.
There will also be raffles held throughout the day and sponsors will be encouraged to support this cause. Entry fees will be donations at the gate. All monies raised on the day will be donated to Dolly’s Dream to assist in the eradication of bullying.
The gates will open at midday on Sunday 28th July, and we encourage the community of Alice Springs to participate. If people are unable to attend, they can still donate on our face book page or Dolly’s Dream website and use the reference 81500. This will alert us how much the good people of Alice Springs has contributed.Download the flyer with What's in the Basket!
